Pura Alternativa was founded in 2000 in the city of Barcelos, in the north of Portugal.
In addition to producing for other brands, it owns the Skulka brand specializing in street wear.

Orlando Marco Maciel, the company's owner and administrator, is in charge. With more than 20 years ' experience working in the textile sector, he maintains an assertive and up-to-date vision of it, always with an eye on the future.

Technological innovation is constant, in an effort to increase production capacity as well as the variety of techniques and processes available.
The relationship with customers is long-lasting and based on constant support and assistance with their needs, from the first sketch of the piece to its delivery.

The company's main objective is to maintain growth, but always with respect for the environment and the community in which it operates, proving that environmental sustainability and social responsibility are not incompatible with economic viability.

PLANNING

In the process of planning and designing the showcase, we have a team prepared from the modeling, creation and prototyping. With all the tools to assist in the creation and development of the final idea, given by the customer through technical specifications.

 

CUTTING

With fully computerised equipment and an integrated system, it has Automatic Stretching and Cutting for Productions, as well as manual. We also have a sector exclusively dedicated to the manual cutting of Samples.

 

PRODUCTION

Associated with a vast experience in the textile market, we have an area for development and production of samples, as well as highly experienced human resources.
We use carefully selected and controlled subcontractors, from confections, embroiderers, print shops, laundries and others.
The entire process, both internal and external, is properly assured by quality controllers. We guarantee a quality control from the beginning to the end of the process, always assuring what the client wishes.

 

PACKAGING

The last phase of the product is once again subject to control. With a full pieces review, from confirmation of measurements, finishes and presentation, packaging once again ensures a premium and personalised service, due to the placement of customised labels or even specific bags.

With the Private Label clothing production scheme, we support those who come to us with our know-how and experience gained over the years.
We have the ability to create and develop products in-house, we are able to help with the creative side and give the best solutions to those who come to us.
Our warehouse, full of diversified raw materials, is ideal for supporting new brands starting their journey. We provide knitwear in a more accessible way and we produce in small quantities, not requiring high investments by the client.
